On The Business Consulting has serviced clients ranging from micro businesses with 1 employee, to corporations with over 50,000.  Corporate client projects involved multidisciplinary teams working on complex problems. The SMME client engagements included incremental improvements, business transformations, and ongoing coaching.

CORPORATE

Telstra Corporation (Aust). T [Pay] Project. Solution Analyst, Senior Process Specialist and Process Deployment Manager

Successfully fulfilled three consecutive project briefs on an upgrade to the national electronic funds transfer system onto optic fibre. This was the largest infrastructure project undertaken by Telstra in over thirty years.  Delivered the requirements statement, end to end process solution, and process deployment plans for all impacted business units. 

Telstra Corporation. Product Standardization. Lead Solution Analyst

Documented the software requirements and new work practices needed to integrate an electronic funds transfer product into full compliance with the customer service and billing standards of Australia’s largest telecommunications company (Telstra Corp). 


Telstra Corporation. Work Instruction Baseline Project. Process Specialist, & Project Lead

Successfully fulfilled two consecutive project briefs on this knowledge management project.  Developed a methodology for collecting and processing data from work teams across Australia, then led the rollout of the methodology.  The project was nominated for an industry award for innovation, quality, and service. 


SMALL, MEDIUM AND MICRO-SIZED ENTERPRISES (SMMEs)

Maletsunyane Falls Braai Festival (Ls). Festival Concept Development. Business Analyst

Authored a sponsorship proposal and feasibility assessment for operating a 3-day festival at one of Lesotho’s premier tourist destinations.  Secured major private and public sponsorship for the inaugural event.  Annual sponsorship was secured for the festival.


Moreton Exhibitions and Events (Aus). Inventory Control System Upgrade. Business Analyst

Developed a system to improve inventory record accuracy.  Conducted a pilot, which led to a roll out in six sites across Australia.  The system improvements reduced interstate transport costs and overall inventory levels.

Shop for Shops (Aus). Organizational Assessment. Organizational Assessor

Developed a change program to support the introduction of a new business model. Engaged all employees to determine the changes needed.  Created a road map for implementation, and provided support.


CIVIL SOCIETY

Morija Museum & Archives (MMA), Royal Archives & Museum (RAM). The Seriti sa Makhoarane (SSM) Heritage Tourism Initiative. Strategic Planning Adviser

Led community stakeholders through the development of a cohesive project to develop the region into a heritage tourism district, under a single brand.  Developed legal and organizational structures, and business model. Produced and delivered presentations to the Government of Lesotho and His Majesty King Letsie III (King of Lesotho), which received their endorsements.

Rural Self Help Development Association (Lesotho). Organizational Restructure. Organizational Development Coach

Led the senior management team through an analysis of their service model, and the development of a new model.  Capacitated senior managers in developing strategies and methods for implementation. 

Lesotho College of Education. Implement Quality Assurance system. Quality Promotions Adviser

Developed an operational model for the QA system, including performance metrics.  Developed and delivered a change management training program to senior managers and academic staff prior to roll out.


Family Planning Tasmania. Organizational Assessment. Organizational Assessor

Designed a tool for surveying employees across the state.  Recommended structural changes to improve organizational capabilities and culture.  Conducted a skills assessment, and developed performance metrics to support the new structure.


State Government of Victoria (AUS). Grants Reform Project. Business Analyst

Developed integration tools for integrating a new grants administration system.  Modeled the new system to determine data compatibility protocols and operational impacts on the department.


PRO BONO

Morija Museum & Archives. 130 Voices. Research Analyst

Designed data collection and analysis tools for a research project on the development needs of the Morija region.  Conducted the analysis and published a report titled ‘130 Voices’.

Developed a strategic plan, business model, and an operational model for the operational integration of four community arts organizations. Developed tools for sharing resources and streamlining operations.
